Your own pictures, printed big
Upload a photo, enlarge it on Falken to the size of your wall, check a small proof at home, then order the big print. It comes rolled in a tube. Printing opens with the shop; enlarging in Falken is free now, while it’s in preview.
How it works
A proof first, then the big one.
One photo, from upload to the wall. The proof costs little and shows exactly what the big print will be, so nothing large is printed until you’re happy.
Step 1Upload your picture
A photo from your camera or phone, a scan of an old print, or a picture you made in Falken: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 15 MB.
Step 2Enlarge it and compare
Falken enlarges it to the pixels your print needs, up to 16K, and you compare the detail with the original at 100%. This photo went from 2,752 × 1,536 to 15,360 × 8,576 in 14.6 seconds. Controls for light, colour, crop and rotation are on the way.
Step 3Order a proof
An A3 sheet on the same paper and printer as the big print: the whole picture, a tone ramp, and two pieces of it at the big print's own scale.
Step 4It comes in the post
Flat, in a stiff mailer, so it arrives as it was printed.
Step 5Check it
Hold it at arm's length for colour and brightness, then look closely at the full-size pieces for sharpness. Not right? Change it and order another proof.
Step 6Order the big print
From your library: the exact file you approved, at the size you chose. The proof's price comes off it.
Step 7It arrives rolled
In a strong tube, flat and unmarked once it's out, ready for a frame or hangers.
Step 8On your wall
Frame it yourself or take it to a framer; framing from us may come later.
The proof, close up
An inch of proof is an inch of the big print.
This is a real proof, laid out from the 16K file in step 2 for a print 150 × 84 cm at 260 pixels per inch. Shrinking a whole picture onto A3 would hide how sharp the big one is, so the pieces on the right are cut at the big print’s own scale.

- 1. The whole picture shrunk to fit: check the colour, the brightness and the framing at arm’s length.
- 2 and 3. Two pieces at full size, marked on the whole picture: look closely, this is how sharp the big print will be.
- The tone ramp from black to paper white: every step should be visible, or the print is too dark or too light.
Sizes
From A3 to two metres wide.
Pick a size to see it on a wall. Each print is made at 300 pixels per inch where the file allows; Falken enlarges your picture to the size that covers it, up to 16K, then to exactly the print’s pixels. The largest sizes depend on the paper, confirmed when printing opens.

On the wall
Any room, any picture.
A panorama above a sofa, a city in a study, a family photo by the stairs.

Rooms and frames shown are AI-generated with Falken, to give a sense of size.
Bigger than they ever were
Falken’s Restore finds a scan’s dust and scratches and heals each one in under a second; tears you mark, stains and faded colour are repaired too. Then enlarge it and print it.
Restore a photoDetail drawn in, not smeared
Enlarging adds the fine detail a bigger size needs instead of stretching the pixels you have. It is drawn by Falken, not captured by your camera, which is why the proof shows it at full size first.
Order again any time
Everything you make stays in your Falken library until you delete it, so a proof today can become a big print next month, from the same file.
Questions
What can I upload?
JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 15 MB: photos from a camera or phone, scans, or pictures you made in Falken. Only upload pictures you have the right to print.
Will it still look like my photo?
Falken’s Restore enlarges in one faithful step: it keeps your picture and draws only the fine detail a bigger size needs. The proof shows you that detail at full size before you order the big print.
Which papers?
We’re choosing our print partner now, photographic and fine-art papers among them. The papers and prices are published when printing opens; a proof is always on the same paper as its big print.
Do you frame them?
Not yet: prints come rolled, ready for your own frame, hangers or a framer. Framing may come later.
When can I order?
Printing opens with the shop. Falken is open now and free while it’s in preview, so you can get your picture ready today: sign in with your UltraWideArt account.
